Connect to CSJ Member Wi-Fi (Mobile)

Connect to CSJ Member Wi-Fi (Mobile)

Summary: The CSJ Member Wi-Fi uses secure enterprise authentication through IronWiFi. To connect, you’ll need to remove any previously saved CSJ networks from your phone, then use the IronWiFi splash page to log in with your email and Network Access PIN. This process will download and install a configuration profile on your device, allowing it to automatically connect to CSJ Member going forward.

Before you begin

  • Be at the CSJ location.

  • Have your work email and your Network Access PIN ready.

  • Use cellular data (not Wi-Fi) for the onboarding steps below.

Step 1 — Remove old CSJ Wi-Fi entries

  1. Disconnect from any CSJ Wi-Fi.

  2. Forget all CSJ networks you’ve used (e.g., CSJ Member, CSJ Guest, etc.).

    • iPhone/iPad: Settings → Wi-Fi → tap ⓘ next to each CSJ network → Forget This Network.

    • Android: Settings → Network & Internet → Internet/Wi-Fi → tap the network → Forget.

Step 2 — Open the CSJ onboarding page

Using cellular data, open this page in Safari/Chrome:

(If it doesn’t load, toggle Airplane Mode ON → OFF and try again.)

  1. Enter your Email.

  2. Enter your Network Access PIN.

  3. Make sure “Download profile” (or install configuration/profile) is checked.

  4. Submit.

Step 3 — Install the Wi-Fi profile

iPhone / iPad

  1. After submitting, you’ll see a prompt saying a profile has been downloaded.

  2. Go to Settings → Profile Downloaded (or Settings → General → VPN & Device Management).

  3. Tap the CSJ Wi-Fi / IronWiFi profile → Install (enter device passcode if asked) → Install again to confirm → Done.

Android

Android models vary. Follow the on-screen instructions provided after you submit on the portal.

  • If a configuration file or certificate downloads, tap it and follow prompts to Install.

  • If asked for usage, choose Wi-Fi.

  • If you’re prompted later in Wi-Fi settings:

    • EAP method: usually PEAP (or TLS if your instructions say certificate-based).

    • CA certificate: choose the installed CA (or “Use system certificates” if directed).

    • Identity/Username: your work email.

    • Password: your Network Access PIN (only for PEAP/MSCHAPv2).

    • Anonymous identity: leave blank (unless instructed otherwise).

Step 4 — Connect to CSJ Member

  1. Turn Wi-Fi ON.

  2. Select CSJ Member.

  3. If prompted, accept the trusted certificate and connect.
You should join without further prompts after the profile is installed.

If it doesn’t connect (quick fixes)

  • Wrong PIN or email: Re-enter your exact work email and Network Access PIN on the portal.

  • Didn’t install the profile: Repeat Step 2 and ensure Download profile is checked, then fully Install it in Settings.

  • Old entries still saved: Forget all CSJ networks again, then retry.

  • Certificate trust prompt dismissed: Forget CSJ Member, reconnect, and tap Trust/Continue when asked.

  • Android only: In Wi-Fi network’s advanced options, verify:

    • EAP = PEAP (or TLS if told),

    • Phase 2 = MSCHAPv2 (for PEAP),

    • CA certificate = your installed CA / system CA as directed,

    • Identity = your email, Password = PIN (for PEAP).

  • Still stuck “connecting…”: Toggle Airplane Mode ON/OFF, reboot the phone, then try again.
