CSJ Printing Guide

Summary: Papercut is the printing management system used at CSJ to make printing simple, secure, and efficient. It allows us to track print usage, ensure fair access to printers, and automatically charge printing costs to your Nexudus account for accurate monthly billing. Using Papercut helps CSJ reduce waste, control costs, and provide a streamlined printing experience for all members.

⚠️ Important: You must be connected to the "CSJ Member" Wi-Fi network for the links and setup process in this guide to work.

Install Papercut Software on Your Computer:
  1. Visit the website above for your device (MacOS or Windows).

  2. Download the Papercut software.

  3. During setup, choose the printers you would like to print to.



Log in with your credentials:

  • Username = Your Nexudus account email

  • Password = Your Network Access PIN provided during account creation



Printing a Document:
  • When you’re ready to print, simply select the printer you would like to print to from the available printers.

  • Print your page.



Printing Details:

  • Your print job will be sent to Suite 206 in the Print Room to the right of the kitchen.

  • Your Nexudus account will automatically be charged for your printing and you will see it on your next monthly invoice issued on the 1st of the month.

Mac Troubleshooting

  1. If you receive an error when trying to print that says "hold for authentication", follow these steps.

  1. Hit Command > Spacebar to open spotlight search.
  2. Search for "Keychain Access" and you will be prompted to open "passwords" or "keychain", be sure to open "keychain".
  3. From there you will have the option to search, search for iR-ADV C3826.
  4. Once it shows, right click on it to open and view the password saved for it.

  1. Click on "show password" and make sure the password present matches the network PIN tied to your Nexudus account.
  2. If it does not match, change it to match the PIN that was provided to you when your account was created.
  3. Once you've confirmed that the PIN is correct, go back to your print queue (which should be located in the bottom right of your dock).
  4. Open it and find the print job you just placed. 

  1. In the top right of that window, you should see a little lock with an arrow looping around it.
  2. Click on it, and if needed, type in your PIN
  3. You'll know the job was sent when it disappears from your print queue.
